The Korea Institute of Public Finance (KIPF) is founded under the Office of the Prime Minister in Korea. KIPF is also a non-profit organization and the only research institution in the areas of tax and public finance in Korea. For the past 30 years, KIPF has aided the Korean government in establishing key policies and conducting research in a wide range of topics, including tax and fiscal policy, government accounting, government investment analysis, evaluation of public institutions, etc. KIPF is also actively engaged in and expanding its international development cooperation, sharing the best policy cases of Korea with its fellow countries in order to bring about similar success stories as that of Korea.
