The Organisation of Women in Sports ( AKWOS) is a Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2003 that focuses on educating and empowering girls and young women about their rights, their health and HIV and AIDS prevention. We use sport as a unique platform to bring girls and women together to deal with these issues.
