Swavu is a dynamic new African startup.  As a s social enterprise, Swavu is committed to its core mission to boost retail services that cater to low-middle income customers in East Africa, in order to enable consumers to access a wide range of safe and reliable consumer products in a timely and affordable manner.  Swavu aims to offer a wide range of retail commodities through business-to-business and business-to-consumer modalities, while exemplifying and promoting international principles of consumer protection.  Swavu is committed to the development of the African continent and at least half of its traded commodities will be made-in-Africa. Swavu will also carry out social development to build the capacity of its supply chain, enhance the communities in which it works, and support research efforts by Africans in the area of African retail.
