Resonate supports women’s leadership at all levels. Our core-training program, Storytelling for Leadership, harnesses the power of personal stories to communicate values and passion, and inspire the support of others in a professional setting, in a business endeavor, or in a community initiative. For a woman, speaking compellingly about herself and her work can be the difference between learning a craft and becoming a social entrepreneur, the difference between having an idea about how to fix a problem and rallying others to implement community-based solutions.

Who We Are

Resonate unlocks leadership potential of women and girls in East Africa. Our workshops allow women and girls to develop the self-confidence and leadership to turn skills and opportunities into action. For a woman, self-confidence can be the difference between learning a craft and becoming a social entrepreneur, the difference between having an idea about how to fix a problem and rallying others to implement community-based solutions.

Resonate’s clients are impact groups focused on women’s skill building and education. Through a B2B model we incorporate our workshops into their programs in order to improve our client outcomes, and drive more impact to the women and girls we both serve. When you invest in women leaders, you invest in their ability to leverage their knowledge and skills to create a better future for themselves, their families, their communities, and the world.

Our values

  1. Turi Kumwe - We work as a team and are aligned toward our goals. We trust in and care for each other in and out of the office.
  2. Believe in Yourself - We engage in our work with confidence, knowing that each of us brings unique skills to the table. We see strength in authenticity and lead with the best, most honest version of ourselves.

  4. Welcome Challenges - We proactively face challenges. We take risks to solve problems creatively with the resources we have available.
  5. Keep Learning - We always have more to learn in our pursuit of impact. We see adaptation and innovation as opportunities for growth.
