Education Development Trust is the lead partner in a consortium that has secured an accountable grant from the UK’s DFID to deliver a programme of support to the Rwanda Ministry of Education in improving the country’s primary education system. Building Learning Foundations (BLF) is a three-year, £25m project funded by DFID UK that aims to strengthen the Rwandan Education system through a series of targeted interventions that will improve the quality of teaching and leadership in primary schools and raise functional literacy and numeracy outcomes for all children.

The BLF Foundation 2 Lead – School Leadership for Learning is responsible for oversight, technical design and implementation of all School Leadership for Learning related project activities .
