The company was incorporated with the core business objective of offering  IT and marketing services to Rwandans such as Computer programming activities, Software publishing, Wired telecommunications activities, Wireless telecommunications activities, Other telecommunications activities, Computer consultancy, and computer facilities management activities, Other information technology and computer service activities, Data processing, hosting and related activities and Other information service activities

Responsibilities:

  • Provides recommendations with management on finance operation and compliances.
  • Manage daily transactions including AP, Payroll, bank reconciliation, etc.
  • Maintain fixed asset register.
  • Work with corporate accountant on supplier and employee’s payments.
  • Maintain procedures for internal control purpose.
  • Prepare and lodge relevant tax returns, including VAT, Income Tax, PAYE and Withholding Tax.
  • Process month/year-end close and prepare GL journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and financial reporting, etc.
  • Review financial statements and conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs in accordance with accounting policies.
  • Co-ordinate regional annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents & regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience in using Accounting software
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations in Rwanda
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Excellent communication skills and high professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be honest and hardworking, with proven experience in dealing with management at a senior level and be disciplined leader
