Call for Applications: Trainers on Sustainable Farming Practices

Professional Agriculture Network Development Rwanda (PAN Rwanda) aims to improve the overall competitiveness and viability of the agriculture industry, and to contribute to a sustainable and thriving agriculture sector. Its specific objectives are Promoting knowledge sharing and best practices in agriculture to improve the industry's efficiency and effectiveness. Facilitating networking and collaboration among agriculture young professionals, organizations, and stakeholders; Providing education and training opportunities for agriculture young professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge. Advocating for the needs and interests of the agriculture community and industry; Supporting the development of new and innovative technologies and solutions in agriculture; Encouraging sustainability and environmental responsibility within the agriculture industry; Supporting the growth and success of agriculture businesses and organizations and fostering partnerships and alliances between agriculture organizations, businesses, and government agencies.

We are seeking qualified trainers to lead workshops on sustainable farming practices. This initiative aims to promote eco-friendly agriculture, enhance food security, and support local communities in adopting sustainable techniques.

Eligibility:

  • Expertise in sustainable farming practices
  • Experience in training or education
  • Strong communication skills
  • Relevant certifications or degrees in agriculture or environmental science (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions
  • Create educational materials and resources
  • Assess participant understanding and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with PAN Rwanda to promote the program

Submission Requirements: Interested applicants should submit the following:

  1. A curriculum outline for the training program, including topics and content to be covered, training methods, and duration.
  2. A CV highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
  3. Any previous training materials or resources you have developed (optional).
  4. A brief cover letter explaining your approach to sustainable farming education.
