PRO-FEMMES/TWESE HAMWE (PFTH) is an umbrella of Civil Society Organizations working for women promotion, peace and development in Rwanda. The organization was established in October, 1992 and at the moment, Pro-Femmes/Twese Hamwe represents 53 member Organizations within the country.

TENDER NOTICE FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF A CONSULTANT TO MAP BUYERS AND SELLERS OF PRIORITY COMMODITIES TRADED BY WOMEN IN CROSS BORDER TRADE ACROSS RWANDA.

Pro-Femmes/ Twese Hamwe (PFTH) is an Umbrella Organization established in October 1992 and currently represents 53 member organizations within the country. 

The umbrella has the mission of contributing to the improvement of the socio-economic status of women, promoting the culture of peace for sustainable development though coordination and capacity building of member organizations.

Pro-Femmes/ Twese Hamwe in partnership with Trade Mark East Africa (TMEA) is implementing the Greater Inclusion of Women in Trade (GIWT) project with the aim of improving the social economic empowerment of women in cross border trade through 4 components of capacity building, improving trade environment, enhancing market linkages and advocating for better implementation of legal and policy frameworks on cross border trade and regional integration.

It is in this context that Pro-Femmes /Twese Hamwe   would like to recruit a national consultant to map  buyers and sellers of specific     commodities traded and needed by women in cross border trade  in Rwanda with a specific attention    to  nine (9) bordering districts of Rubavu, Rusizi, Burera , Gicumbi,

Tender documents can be obtained at Pro-Femmes /Twese Hamwe Head Office in Gahanga sector, Kicukiro district from 29/11/2019 upon presentation of a proof of payment of non-refundable fees of 10,000 Frw to the account NO 1002190104949201 opened in ACCESS BANK in the names of PFTH.  Proposals are to be submitted to PFTH not later than 10th December 2019 at 11h00 am local time and the opening will take place the same day at 11h30 at PFTH meeting room.
