Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN ) is an equal opportunity economic policy research platform in Rwanda bringing together key economic management institutions, individuals and organisations active in economic policy research and analysis to create a pool community for economic policy researchers through organising trainings on quantitative research methods, research coaching and mentorship, work place placements, learning tours and joint research projects to support provide evidence for economic policy formulation and policy research development. EPRN therefore responds to economic policy gaps created mainly by lack of quality and informative research and the challenge of human capacity in terms of limited numbers of economic researchers and active involvement.

Membership is open to researchers, academicians, policy makers in the government institutions, private sector members and development partners.

The Economic Policy Research Network (EPRN Rwanda) is a membership-based non-governmental organization which brings together individuals and organizations active in economic policy research and analysis to support the provision of evidence for economic policy formulation and research development. EPRN Rwanda responds to gaps in economic policy research, especially due to a limited number of highly qualified and experienced researchers.

EPRN endeavors to strengthen the capacities of individual researchers, professionals, public and private institutions and civil society organizations through structured trainings with an aim of enhancing their capacities. EPRN aims to produce a professional pool of experts equipped with state-of-the-art knowledge and skills to ensure sustainable individual and institutional performance.

EPRN offers quality training services at affordable prices compared to what is obtainable in Rwanda and region.

Training fee: (Individuals).

  • Members: 20,000 Rwf per course
  • Non-members: 100,000 Rwf per course (80,000 Rwf for early payment, those who will pay until one week before training day

Institutions :

  • Members: 300,000 Rwf tax inclusive per day (Institution taking care of all logistics). 
  • Non Members: 600,000 Rwf per day.
  • The charges for the software will be charged depending on the number of users per institution  and per year

 Application process

 Interested candidates are encouraged to pay the registration fees through the following bank details:

  • Bank Account: 00040 06945750 07 RWF (Bank of Kigali – BK)
  • Title of the Account: Economic Policy Research Network and scan the bank slip and send it to info@eprnrwanda.org and copy to coordinator@eprnrwanda.org OR bring the hard copy of bank slip to EPRN office at UR-CBE Gikondo (former SFB).

Note: In addition to the training plan highlighted in this calendar, EPRN Rwanda organizes tailor-made training programs for institutions upon demand.
