Position: Hotel Reservation Specialist 

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Hotel Reservation Specialist on behalf of our client to join their team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, impeccable attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.



  • Reservation Management:
    • Handle reservations for hotel rooms, restaurants, transportation, events, and other services as required.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Information Assistance:
    • Offer guests information about local attractions, events, restaurants, and transportation options.
  • Problem Resolution:
    • Resolve guest complaints and issues effectively and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Coordination:
    • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure smooth operations.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain clear and effective communication with guests, colleagues, and management through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, record-keeping, and maintaining reservation systems.
  • Upselling:
    • Promote additional services and amenities to guests to enhance their experience and increase revenue.
  • Safety and Security:
    • Ensure the safety and security of guests by following established protocols and procedures.
  • Flexibility:
    • Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the hospitality industry.


  • Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in Kinyarwanda.
  • High school diploma.
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations or a related customer service field.
  • Proficient in reservation software and booking platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.


  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using reservation software and computer systems. Opera & Resaweb preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
