2  Job Details& Requirements

Job Summary

Support the smooth and 24/7 operation of all local systems and applications such as, but not limited to, infrastructure, Applications, VOIP, AV, Active Directory and IT Security. Work under direction from the Director, IT Operations to manage the office systems and provide end-user help desk support

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and provide IT guidance to office colleagues
  • Report and address defects in hardware
  • Update, patch and upgrade software as needed
  • Monitor network and system performance and adjust as needed
  • Maintain office data center including backup
  • Support all technology, including but not limited to door lock systems, AV systems, meeting room booking systems, meeting room displays, VOIP systems, wireless and wired systems
  • Maintain current level patch management of Office infrastructure through SCCM
  • Maintain and document of all technical standards
  • Adhere to and ensure all IT standards are adhered to
  • Adhere to and ensure all IT Policy & Procedures are adhered to
  • Assist in the research and selection of the best in its field IT Hospitality Hardware/Software to minimize risk and increase efficiency and speed.
  • Plan for the future upgrades
  • Assist Manager, IT Support as requested

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

Reporting Skills, Administrative Writing Skills, Microsoft Office Skills, Microsoft Active Directory, Managing Processes, Organization, Analyzing Information, Professionalism, Problem Solving, Inventory Control, Verbal Communication

Experience

  • Understand IT process and administrative tasks, off-the-shelf server, and desktop hardware and software. Minimum of 1-year experience in hospitality-related IT is preferred.
