One of our client is seeking for Primary Teacher for Home-Schooled Student.

We are a family passionate about providing our child with a unique and personalized educational experience through home schooling. We believe that home schooling offers a wonderful opportunity to tailor education to our child’s individual needs, pace, and interests, allowing for a deeper and more meaningful learning experience. Our child is currently midway through Grade 1, following the Cambridge curriculum, and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Teacher to join our home school team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher with in-depth knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum, particularly in the areas of science and mathematics. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, approachable, and have a proven track record of working with young children. In addition to strong teaching skills, we are looking for someone who can outline their life skills and contribute to our child’s holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a customized curriculum aligned with the Cambridge Grade 1 curriculum, with a focus on science and mathematics.
  • Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to our child’s learning style and pace.
  • Assess and monitor our child’s academic progress, providing regular feedback and detailed reports.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, experiments, and problem-solving exercises.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to ensure alignment in educational goals and progress.
  • Be approachable and accessible to both the child and parents, building strong, trusting relationships.
  • Demonstrate and incorporate life skills that contribute to the child’s overall growth and development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum, particularly at the Grade 1 level.
  • Proven experience in teaching young children, preferably in a home-schooling or one-on-one setting.
  • Strong background in science and mathematics.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Approachable, with the ability to connect with children and parents.
  • Ability to demonstrate and teach important life skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
