PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE

IntraHealth International, hereinafter referred to as “the Client” wishes to inform the public (individuals and organizations) of the intention to sell the below motor vehicles through a public auction. First Price Sealed Bid will be the method used to sell the vehicles.

Viewing of the above-mentioned motor-vehicles is scheduled from May 20, 2019, to May 23, 2019, during working hours from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the main parking lot of Golden Plaza, along KG 546 Street 1, Kacyiru, Kigali.

Well prepared offers that are properly bound, sealed, presented in one original copy, and addressed to IntraHealth Procurements, must reach the reception of IntraHealth International, located at Golden Plaza, 3rd floor, along KG 546 Street 1, Kacyiru, Kigali, no later than Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 5:00 pm. Bids received after this date and time shall not be accepted.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Prospective bidders may bid for all 5 vehicles, as a single lot, or select and bid for vehicles of interest. In the latter case, the vehicle/s of interest must be properly identified in the bid documents.
  • The opening of envelopes is scheduled for May 24, 2019, at 9:00 am at IntraHealth International offices - Kigali. All bidders, successful or not, will be informed of the outcome of their bids within 2 working days after the opening of envelopes.
  • The highest bidder will be expected to immediately pay a non-refundable advance of 50% of the total bid price for the purchased vehicle at the end of the auction (the same day s/he is notified) to the IntraHealth International bank account that will be provided; while the balance shall be settled within 5 working days.
  • Failure to pay the balance due will result in cancellation of the right to possession of the vehicle(s).
  • Only certified cheques will be allowed for payment and separate cheques will have to be made for each vehicle.
  • Successful bidders will work with IntraHealth International to process the transfer of ownership before vehicle identification documents (yellow card) are released to them. Successful bidders are solely responsible for paying any taxes and or customs duties applicable by Rwandan law; as well as customs clearing charges.
  • IntraHealth International reserves the right to reject all bids of any vehicle if the quoted price does not satisfy the needs of the organization.
