Vision Garment Ltd is a startup manufacturing flag bearer in garment and mosquito net manufacturing with the target to manufacture and sell on the Rwandan market and to the region. Vision Garment Ltd is hiring the most talented technicians who are driven by passion in the textile industry and have an urge of making “Made in Rwanda” a reality. We are looking for experienced Technicians to oversee and coordinate the daily company activities. They will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. Ultimately, they should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.


 Duties and Responsibilities  

Among the numerous duties and responsibilities of your post, you shall be required to undertake the performance of the day-to-day assignments, but not limited to the following:

  1. Make order and following quality control plan;
  2. Set target for the Finishing   department;
  3. Follow input and output sequence;
  4. Follow defects and turned back for correction immediately;
  5. Conducting testing procedures during manufacturing processes;
  6. Ensure that products comply with quality standards;
  7. Ensure all finished garment are in good condition;
  8. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced;
  9. Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards;
  10. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process;
  11. Make sure that the set daily target is achieved on time;
  12. Maintain discipline at work and ensure all workers follow the company rules and regulations;
  13. Ensure all repairs from finishing are being done and return back on time.

Education and Experiences:

  1. Having a Bachelor’s degree in any field or TVET and other related College diplomas
  2. Senior six level with experience in tailoring is encouraged to apply as well
  3. Must have at least two (2) years of progressive work experience in the textile industry specifically in tailoring
  4. Able and capable to work on targets
  5. Must have hands-on experience in tailoring and textile production
  6. General awareness of the textile industry and a good understanding of the tailoring process is a must
  7. Proven work experience in any area of interest here below indicated
  8. Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  11. Strong organizational and time management skills
  12. Able to work outside Kigali
