The project „Conservation of Biodiversity and Natural Resources and Climate Protection by Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry at Cyamudongo Forest” aims the setup of an Agroforestry Zone around Cyamudongo Forest (Nyungwe National Park) managed by the “Verein zur Förderung nachhaltiger Entwicklung in Rwanda” („Association for the Promotion of Sustainable Development in Rwanda“) - a German Non Governmental Organization that works on subjects concerning Rwanda’s sustainable development, especially in Biodiversity Conservation, Agroforestry and Management of Natural Resources. The project is financially supported within the framework of the International Climate Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).
