Job Title: Daycare (Creche) Head Teacher

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Early Childhood professional to lead and manage our daycare centre. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in caring for and educating children aged 6 months to 2 years, and be passionate about early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the daycare centre
- Supervise and support daycare staff
- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning and care activities
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers
- Monitor children’s development and provide feedback to parents
- Maintain records and reports for each child
- Ensure hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards are met
Requirements:
- Degree in Early Childhood Development (mandatory)
- Proven experience working in a daycare (Creche) setting with children aged 6 months to 2 years (mandatory)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, record-keeping)
- Patient, caring, and attentive to children’s needs
- Willingness to relocate to Gashora
Working Hours:
Monday to Saturday
Salary:
Starting salary: 300,000-350,000 RWF
