Overview and Purpose
As our organisation continues to expand its footprint and scale its operations across technology, digital mobility, and social impact initiatives, we are proactively building a dynamic pipeline of exceptional HR and Culture professionals.
This call for expressions of interest is an exploratory talent mapping action. We are seeking qualified, motivated, and agile Human Resources specialists across various career stages who wish to be considered for upcoming full-time or contract opportunities as new vacancies arise.
By joining our HR Talent Pool, your profile will be reviewed by our leadership team, positioning you for direct contact and rapid engagement if and when aligned roles open within the People and Strategy department.
Talent Pool Categories and Core Profiles
We invite applications from professionals across three key career tiers:
1. HR Officers/Associates (Early Career and Operational Support)
- Focus: Day-to-day HR administration, onboarding logistics, personnel records management, and employee query resolution.
- Key Experience: years of operational HR or administrative experience.
- Educational Standard: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related social science disciplines.
2. HR Business Partners and Specialists (Mid-Level)
- Focus: End-to-end recruitment, performance management facilitation, payroll processing oversight, policy implementation, and staff relations.
- Key Experience: 4 - 7 years of progressive generalist HR experience within fast-paced corporate, tech, or non-profit sectors.
- Educational Standard: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Organisational Psychology, or Business Administration. Professional membership (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable.
3. Senior HR Managers and Compliance Lead (Senior Tier)
- Focus: Complex employee relations, labour law compliance, HR risk mitigation, organisational design, talent development strategies, and cross-departmental advisory.
- Key Experience: 8+ years of demonstrated HR leadership, with strong experience navigating Rwandan labour legislation, complex contract structuring, and audit-ready documentation.
- Educational Standard: Master’s degree (MSc, MA, or MBA) in Human Resource Management, Strategic Leadership, or Law. Senior professional certification preferred.
Core Competencies Across All Levels
- Rigorous Attention to Detail: Flawless accuracy in drafting employment contracts, managing compliance paperwork, and maintaining personnel files.
- Labour Law and Legal Literacy: Practical understanding and correct application of national labour regulations, contract laws, and statutory requirements.
- Discretion and Integrity: Absolute confidentiality and professional ethics in handling sensitive staff matters, grievances, and strategic organisational decisions.
- Proactive Communication: Clear, polite, and responsive communication across all channels, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Solutions-Oriented Initiative: Ability to identify operational bottlenecks, propose clear mitigation plans, and drive continuous HR process improvement.
Soft Competencies
Command of key competencies needed for the modern workplace, including but not limited to: Strategic Leadership, High-Level Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Uncompromising Integrity, Excellent Cross-Functional Communication, Work Ethic, Dependability, Empathy, Professionalism, and effective Stress Management in high-stakes environments.
