The Management of Trinity Nyakabingo Mine Ltd is pleased to invite competent, qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following vacant position:

Job Brief: To learn the Company's geological processes and best geological practice, in order to assist the Mine Geologist in daily tasks. The role begins with practical and theoretical training, through working alongside the Mine Geologist and studying the Company's geological records and other reference material.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn and understand the Company's geological processes within an agreed timeframe.
• Shadow the Mine Geologist in daily tasks, with the aim of carrying them out independently.
• Study all available geological material to gain an advanced understanding of the resource and to advise and support mining operations.
• Understand the role of the MRM department within mining operations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other task assigned by the Supervisor and/or Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Geology or a similar qualification.
• 3 years' experience, preferably in a mining environment.
• Basic knowledge of mining operations.
• Some knowledge of CAD and spatial data software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Trustworthy, of sober habits, motivated and performance-driven.
• Able to work in a team and committed to a strong safety culture.
