Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Business Analyst who will serve as a vital link between our clients and our development team. This individual must be able to understand our software products deeply, communicate their value compellingly to potential clients, and translate client needs into clear requirements for our developers. The ideal candidate is curious, articulate, client-focused, and eager to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of all software products developed by SMART IT CONSULTING and their business value.
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients through networking, outreach, and market research.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to each client's industry and needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and onboarding phases.
- Gather, document, and analyze client requirements in a structured and detailed manner.
- Translate client feedback and needs into clear, actionable briefs for the development team.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure client expectations align with what is technically feasible.
- Track and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools and report progress to management.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging client needs.
- Participate in internal product briefings to remain current on software updates and new features.
- Represent SMART IT professionally in meetings, events, and client visits.
Qualifications & Requirements
|
Education |
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field. |
|
Language |
Excellent written and spoken English and Kinyarwanda — professional proficiency is required. Fluency in other languages is an added advantage. |
|
Experience |
1–3 years in sales, business development, business analysis, or client-facing roles. Experience in the tech or software industry is a strong advantage. |
|
Technical Skills |
Ability to learn quickly. |
