Background

Urugo Women Opportunity Center (WOC) is a social enterprise committed to empowering women and youth through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), entrepreneurship development, hospitality, dairy processing, leather works, textile production, agriculture, and other income-generating initiatives.

To strengthen its operational capacity and enhance practical training across its production units, Urugo WOC invites eligible and qualified suppliers to submit sealed bids for the Supply and Delivery of Leather & Leather Crafting materials, consumables, tools, and accessories required to support training and production activities within its Leather Works Department.

Objective

The objective of this tender is to procure high-quality leather materials, leather crafting tools, consumables, accessories, and related supplies required to improve practical training, enhance production quality, and strengthen operational efficiency within Urugo WOC's Leather Works training and production unit.

Scope of Supply

The successful bidder shall supply and deliver leather materials, leather crafting tools, consumables, hardware, accessories, and related supplies for the Leather Works Department.

The scope includes, but is not limited to:

Leather and synthetic leather materials
Shoe-making materials
Bag-making materials
Leather crafting tools and equipment
Stitching materials and accessories
Beading materials
Adhesives and finishing materials
Fasteners, buckles, rivets, zippers, and hardware
Leather care products
Soccer ball production materials
Other consumables and materials required for leather production and practical training

Detailed technical specifications, quantities, units of measurement, and minimum technical requirements are provided in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ), which forms an integral part of this tender document.

Delivery Requirements

The successful bidder shall:

Deliver all items to Urugo Women Opportunity Center (WOC) Head Office, Kayonza District.
Supply new, genuine, high-quality, and durable leather materials, consumables, tools, and accessories.
Ensure that all supplied items conform to the technical specifications provided in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ).
Replace any defective, damaged, or non-conforming items at no additional cost to Urugo WOC.
Provide warranty information and manufacturer's guarantees where applicable.

Valid RDB Certificate.
Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
VAT Registration Certificate.
RSSB Clearance Certificate.
Three (3) Recommendation Letters and/or Completion Certificates from previous clients.
Detailed Financial Quotation indicating:

Submission Instructions

Bids must be submitted in two (2) hard copies.

Late submissions shall not be accepted.
