EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR LABORATORY REVIEW TO TRINITY METAL GROUP

Trinity Metals including, Nyakabingo Mine, Rutongo Mines and Musha Mines is seeking for a qualified and local Rwandan service provider to provide laboratory review. 

Scope of Work for Laboratory Review

The scope of the laboratory review work includes but not limited to the following:

Standard Operating Procedures

  • Review existing SOPs and identify missing documentation
  • Assess document control systems
  • Recommend standardisation across operations

Sample Preparation Review

  • Assess sample handling, segregation, contamination risks and workflow efficiency
  • Review exploration, grade control, metallurgical and export sample preparation systems.

Laboratory Infrastructure and Layout Review

  • Review laboratory layouts, dust control, sample flow and expansion plans; 
  • Recommend improvements aligned with best-practice laboratory design.

Laboratory Equipment Review

  • Assess condition, maintenance, calibration and operational suitability of all equipment
  • Identify bottlenecks, contamination sources and upgrade requirements.

Analytical Methods Review

  • Assess suitability, accuracy and precision of analytical methods;
  • Recommend acceptable analytical methodologies by sample type.

Personnel Competency and Capability Review

  • Assess organisational capability, staffing levels, training systems and competency gaps.

QA/QC Systems Review

  • Review CRM management, duplicates, blanks, insertion rates and control chart systems;
  • Assess acceptance criteria and failure investigation procedures.

Data Integrity and Traceability Review

  • Assess chain of custody, traceability, hidden biases and auditability of results.

Laboratory Information Management and Reporting Systems

  • Review data capture systems, reporting workflows, transcription risks and version control;
  • Assess LIMS implementation requirements and integration opportunities.

Compliance and Governance Review

  • Assess alignment with international mining industry best practice and IPO governance expectations.

Eligibility and Competency Requirements:

Interested parties must have

  • Extensive mining laboratory experience; 
  • Experience with tungsten and/or tin operations; 
  • Experience with QA/QC systems in resource industries; 
  • Experience with ISO laboratory systems; 
  • Experience supporting public market reporting and audit readiness;
  • Experience implementing LIMS systems.

All interested parties should submit an Expression of Interest in accordance with the below requirements complete with supporting documents.

  • Application Cover Letter introducing your Company/Individual expressing interest, availability, and a brief business and experience profile including qualifications and experience.
  • CVs of proposed personnel demonstrating skills and status.
  • Key personnel CVs for conducting the required technical work
  • Summary of qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Details of at least three similar projects undertaken in the last five years.
  • Certificate of domestic company registration issued by RDB.
  • VAT Registration.
  • Valid income tax clearance issued by RRA

Submission to be forwarded to tender@trinity-metals.com by not later than 17th June 2026 at 11:00AM Local time. Expressions of Interest received after 17th June 2026 at 11:00AM Local time will unfortunately not be considered.

Further discussion will be undertaken with selected respondents to prove the competence of the bidder and thereafter an invitation to tender will be provided to the bidder.
