Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri (INES-Ruhengeri) is calling for applications for the following vacant administrative position:
POSITION: MARKETING OFFICER
- Available position: One (1)
- Supervising Organ: The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Administration and Finance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To develop and implement marketing, branding, and communication strategies that promote the visibility and reputation of INES-Ruhengeri.
- To coordinate student recruitment campaigns, exhibitions, education fairs, outreach programs, and other promotional activities.
- To manage the University's website and official social media platforms by creating and disseminating relevant content.
- To design and produce promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, posters, banners, and other marketing publications.
- To conduct market research and analyze trends to support marketing strategies and institutional growth.
- To establish and maintain collaborative relationships with schools, partners, alumni, media houses, and other stakeholders.
- To prepare periodic marketing, communication, and branding performance reports for Management.
- To perform any other duties assigned by the University Management.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Strategic Marketing, or Digital Marketing from a recognized institution.
- Equivalence of the degree certificate in case the degree was obtained abroad (outside of Rwanda).
- At least two (2) years of proven professional experience in marketing, branding, digital marketing, institutional marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, website content management, and institutional branding.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyse market trends, and prepare marketing performance reports.
- Ability to organize exhibitions, education fairs, outreach programmes, promotional events, and student recruitment campaigns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital marketing tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for direct appointment as full-time administrative staff.
