Brief description of DUHAMIC-ADRI
DUHAMIC -ADRI is an on-profit organization located in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, in Kicukiro District, Niboye Sector. Officially operating in Rwanda since 12th July 1985

Objectives
- Fighting against the marginalization of rural areas.
- Stimulating the creation and consolidation of associations, cooperatives and farmers' groups.
- Enhancing the work of farmers' associations by initiating and encouraging the development of organizational structures such as autonomous groups, cooperatives and unions.
- Supporting rural development initiatives in various areas of socio-economic development.
Tender background
In pursuit of institutional sustainability, DUHAMIC-ADRI has invested in the construction of a multi-storey apartment building (Basement + Ground Floor + 2 Upper Floors + Penthouse) located in Kicukiro District, Niboye Sector, on parcels identified under UPIs 1/03/09/02/467, 1/03/09/02/466 and 1/03/09/02/1684. The building is about to be completed and will soon be opened for use. Once completed, it will comprise 14 residential units: 7 one-bedroom apartments with a living room, 3 two-bedroom apartments with a living room and 4 studio apartments, each equipped with a kitchen.
To make them ready for use as furnished, mid-range rental apartments, DUHAMIC-ADRI is hiring three (3) qualified, experienced and reputable service providers to carry out the furnishing works, divided into the following three lots:
- Lot 1: Construction works & construction-related items
- Lot 2: Supply of furniture, furnishings & non-electrical equipment;
- Lot 3: Supply of electronics, electrical appliances & equipment
The items to be supplied and installed will be in line with the furniture and interior design proposal selected by DUHAMIC-ADRI for the building.
