I. Brief Description of DUHAMIC-ADRI
DUHAMIC -ADRI is DUHAMIC -ADRI is a non-profit organization located in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, in Kicukiro District, Niboye Sector. Officially operating in Rwanda since 12th July 1985.
Mission: Supporting integrated initiatives for holistic development of rural population in their struggle for self-reliance.

II. Project background
The Climate Just Programme (CJP) is a Scottish Government funded Project through TRÓCAIRE under the Climate Justice Fund and is implemented by DUHAMIC-ADRI in consortium with other partners in Gisagara, Karongi, and Ngororero Districts. The project has objectives of implementing effective climate justice interventions focusing on community voice and needs, prioritizing marginalized communities, women, and people with disabilities.
III. Purpose of the tender
To hire a construction company for the construction of three (3) maize drying facilities, two (2) irish potato seed storage and collection centers, and one (1) rice drying facility in Gisagara and Ngororero districts.
The following mandatory documents must be submitted with the technical proposals
- A valid certificate of current standing issued by RDB
- Valid clearance certificate issued by Rwanda Social Security Board
- A valid RRA clearance certificate
- A valid credit line or a promise of a credit line issued by a bank or other authorized financial institution, for at least the following specified amounts and specifically intended to support the execution of the works under this tender:
Lot 1: Sixty million Rwandan Francs (60,000,000 Rwf).
Lot 2: Twenty-five million Rwandan Francs (25,000,000 Rwf).
Lot 3: Twenty-five million Rwandan Francs (25,000,000 Rwf).
Lot 4: Sixty million Rwandan Francs (60,000,000 Rwf)
- A commitment letter confirming the bidder’s ability to complete the assignment within a period of:
Lot 1: Forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of contract signature.
Lot 2: Thirty (30) calendar days from the date of contract signature.
Lot 3:Thirty (30) calendar days from the date of contract signature.
Lot 4: 45 calendar days from the date of contract signature.
- A Site Visit Certificate to be issued by DUHAMIC-ADRI during the visit
- Proof of use of the Electronic Billing Machine (EBM) (An invoice submitted in the past or EBM usage certificate)
Note:All the above documents are mandatory; failure to submit any of them will result in automatic disqualification.
The scope of work is detailed in the attached Terms of Reference for your reference.
